Transportation Information

In order to increase student safety and improve traffic flow, we ask that all elementary students who will be picked up in the afternoon as car riders have a pre­-printed Car Rider Tag.

The Pass is issued by the campus front office. The receptionist will be able to print your Car Rider Tag at the time of your visit. Please make sure you have a valid, state issued photo ID to pick up your child’s Car Rider Tag. The Car Rider Tag must be displayed every day in the window of the vehicle that will be picking your child up. Beginning on the first day of on-campus instruction, students will not be released without the tag being displayed. If you do not have a Car Rider Tag, you will be required to park your car and go into the front office with your ID. 

If you need to change the way your child will be going home during the school year, there are 2 allowable ways to communicate:

1) Send a written note to the teacher.

2) Email it to oetransportation@newcaneyisd.org.

For safety reasons, we cannot accept changes after 2:30 p.m. or over the phone.
